Ruger von Rhens is a cute mid-size 18-month-old German Shepherd fluff ball. Our loving and personable boy can be a little shy at first, but just give him a little time and see what a goofy puppy he can be.  Ruger has a nice medium energy level and walks great on leash, staying close most of the time. He starts wagging his tail when he sees other dogs on walks, and meets them very well. He does best with nice, playful male and female dogs. Although he enters playgroup somewhat shyly, he exhibits nice canine manners, wagging his tail when dogs come up to meet him. Young Ruger is uneasy with pushy dogs and has the wisdom to avoid them. He loves to join in play with the happy, playful ones. He is not a fan of kitties. This wonderful boy is ready to find the forever family that was meant for him: one that will love him as much as he will love them - be they near or out-of-state.
